February 20 - Blessed Jacinta Marto, visionary of Fatima (d. 1920)

In 1917, Mary announced the events that we are currently witnessing

The small town of Fatima in Portugal is now famous for the shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, built to commemorate the six Marian apparitions of 1917 in which three young shepherds, Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco, claimed to have seen the "Virgin of the Rosary" (Our Lady of Fatima) and the year before the apparitions of the Angel of Peace (or Angel of Portugal).

Here are the most important prophecies announced by Mary to the children:

"The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be destroyed;

In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.

The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, which will be converted, and the world will be granted a certain time of peace.

In Portugal the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved.”

The Virgin Mary also entrusted them with three secrets, only two of which (the end of the First World War and the collapse of communism in the East), were known before the accession of Pope John Paul II.

The third secret, the assassination attempt on John Paul II in 1981, was written in January 1944 by the visionary Sister Lucia and given to Bishop Da Silva in June 1944. It was made public by Pope John Paul II himself on May 13, 2000. Sister Lucia passed away in February 2005, after confirming that the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary had been done on March 25, 1984, by Pope John Paul II.
