A novena to Our Lady brings a woman back to life

In 1987 my mom suffered a stroke; she was 74 years old, and the doctors told us to prepare ourselves for the worst. I went to the chapel in Maroilles (France), and started a novena to Our Lady while my brothers and sisters were already planning the funeral. I told them that our mom would not die.

Three days after I started my novena, I went to the hospital with an old friend to visit my mom: she was lying in bed with her arms crossed over her chest and was no longer connected to any medical device! I asked the nurse what was happening, and she said: we're waiting...

When I knelt down by my mom and placed my hand on hers, she opened her eyes at once and said to me: "What are you doing here?" I couldn't believe it! I called the nurse, who called the doctor...I waited with my friend in the hallway.

After an hour and a half the doctor came to me and said: "Go light a candle, because your mother is saved!"  Mom died 20 years later, at the age of 94.
