May Mary help us to become evangelizers

Today is Thursday, the day in which we pray the Luminous Mysteries. Let us meditate on the 3rd luminous mystery, the proclamation of the Kingdom of God with the invitation to conversion (Mk 1:14-20), whose fruit is interior conversion and holiness.

Jesus brought God’s message and grace to the last frontiers of human activity during the three years of his public ministry, alternating between prayer and preaching, attentive to his Father’s will. We are called to follow him in order to spread the Gospel. His words were accompanied by miracles: we too must be attentive to the signs he gives us, transmit the Word of life, and be committed to doing the will of the Father.

Lord, grant that all missionaries, far and near, all the young people who feel called to evangelize, all those who serve the poor and the suffering, suffering and misery and who, in so doing, show the face of Christ to their brothers and sisters, may receive the strength from above and the signs that support them in their mission!
