The AVE Mary Undoer of Knots Association (French acronym for Avancer, Vivre et Écouter: Moving Forward, Living and Listening) was created to let people pray the Novena to Mary who Unties Knots as a community that can meet, reflect and find healing together.
Two-day sessions give participants the opportunity to finish the novena together, started seven days earlier individually. These sessions provide a unique time to pray for oneself and one's family, to experience community prayer, and to have a chance to reconnect with our own spiritual life. Discerning what is essential in one's life, regaining strength and receiving guidance for reflection and action, are all the means of gradually untying the "knots", through the presence and maternal intercession of Our Lady..
These sessions are organized in large Marian shrines, to benefit from the special graces attached to each place. The program includes talks, times of adoration, and group prayer. The last two days of the novena are prayed together. Each participant can talk to a priest, receive the sacrament of reconciliation, attend mass and entrust to the Virgin Mary all the "knots" that have been discerned and prayed over.
