July 6 - Mary’s lacrymations and messages to Sister Agnes Sasagawa Katsuko from 1973-1981 (Akita, Japan - recognized by Bishop Ito in 1984)

"If men do not repent and mend their ways..."

In this time of global chaos, we should keep in mind that in Akita, Japan, Our Lady wept over the sins of the world.

From July 6, 1973, Sister Agnes Sasagawa received messages from Heaven in Akita, asking her to make reparation for the sins of men:

"The present world wounds the Most Holy Heart of Our Lord with its ingratitude and insults. Mary's wound is much deeper and more painful than yours. Pray much for the Pope, the bishops and the priests. Many men in this world afflict the Lord. I want souls to console Him... If men do not repent and mend their ways, a terrible punishment will fall on the whole of humanity."

Then, between January 4, 1975 and September 15, 1981, the statue of Our Lady in the convent began to weep. The phenomenon occurred 101 times, in the presence of many witnesses, and Bishop Ito of Niigata saw in this sign a mark of authenticity of the apparitions, which he finally recognized as authentic on April 22, 1984.
