"A few months ago, a close friend told me about a pilgrimage he made to Medjugorje (Bosnia-Herzegovina). I found his story interesting. I shared it with some friends and many of them told me about the graces people receive there, but I remained skeptical because Medjugorje is not officially recognized by the Church. 

In January 2003, I received an email from that same friend who encouraged me to go on a trip to Medjugorje. Deep inside, I was actually eager to go, if only out of curiosity, and I thought, why not ?, maybe I'll receive a small grace. And like Saint Thomas, I wanted to see if the "rumors" about Medjugorje were true. I wanted to find out for myself.

I won’t bore you with the whole trip. Our accompanying priest prepared us for this pilgrimage during the first, sightseeing part of the trip and this was very beneficial to me. When we arrived we "caught" a Mass in French and the first grace from Mary fell on me: when I entered the church I said to our Mom [Mary]: "This is it, I am in Medjugorje, I entrust myself to you during this pilgrimage". At the moment of Communion I broke down in tears and couldn't stop. I didn't know who I was anymore.

I hadn't been to confession for a very long time! After going to confession, I went to Mass again at 6 pm. The same thing happened at the consecration! Mary struck a second time: I cried again, and I couldn't control myself... My pride took a second blow. It was very hard, but in retrospect, it was such a joyful moment!

If you also have doubts or fears about Medj, I assure you that they are not justified. Go ahead and let Our Lady carry and guide you!"
