In these difficult times, let us remember God's promise at the Annunciation!

At the end of March, Balanga Bishop Ruperto C. Santos reminded the faithful that the Feast of the Annunciation is a manifestation that God will save the fallen humanity as He promised. “The Blessed Virgin Mary received the good news. Mary has found favor with God. She will be the mother of the Savior. Salvation has come. God is faithful to His promise to save the fallen humanity,” said “In these difficult and dangerous times, trust that there will be good news to come, our own annunciations. Healing will come. Cure and remedy will be found. This pandemic will be eradicated. We will be restored to sound health. We will be safe again. The world will be healed,” Santos said.

The bishop urged Catholics to stay strong and firm in their faith and to continue to do good amid the spread of the corona virus disease (COVID-19).

“Despite the sufferings and sacrifices, don’t take advantage of the situation for profit and personal gains. Do things in favor of God and of the common good. God is true to His word. He will save us. God will manifest His power and glory. God is not punishing us nor is God angry with us. He will rescue us, comfort us and grant us His healing.

“Have faith in God. Don’t lose hope, nor be discouraged. Don’t give up. Look up to God and hold on to His Word. Everything will come to pass. God will triumph. God will help us beat this virus. And that is our annunciation."
