July 1st – Armenian Church: Transfer of Mary’s Veil

"If you can’t recite the Rosary with your lips, say it with your heart"

One day two ladies talked to Francisco, one of the young seers of Our Lady of Fatima in 1917, to ask him about the career he would like to pursue when he was a grown up:

"Do you want to be a carpenter? "

"No, ma’am."

"Do you want to be a soldier?"

"No, ma’am."

"Wouldn’t you like to be a doctor?"

"No, I don’t."

"Oh, I know what you want to be: a priest! Saying mass, confessing, preaching ... right?"

"No ma’am, I don’t want to be a priest."

"So what do you want to be?"

"I do not want to be anything! I want to die, and go to Heaven!"

On the last night, before he expired, Francisco said to his mother: "Look at this beautiful light, Mamma, by the door!" The boy was not yet 11 years old. The Mother of Jesus had promised him that she would come if he prayed a lot of Rosaries. He prayed nine a day and made "heroic sacrifices" to avoid sins. And when he had no strength to recite them, his mother consoled him by saying: "If you cannot recite the Rosary with your lips, say it with your heart."
