O great God! O vibrant beauty! O admirable perfection! O my life and my daily song! O my joy and my bliss! How shall I express in writing, or in painting with earthly colors and human words this knowledge of God? How can I explain what occurred in the dazzling experience of Easter? [...] How can I speak properly of God? He is ... what shall I say? [...] Who is He in fact? He is not unknowable, but He remains incomprehensible and therefore ineffable. When we try to define Him, our words are so far from reality that they come close to blasphemy.
