The Palm of Virginity

Following a tradition based on the Gospel of Saint Peter and the Book of James, some people consider the "brothers and the sisters" of Jesus Joseph's children, born out of a first wedlock he may have had prior to marrying the Blessed Virgin. Those who speak thus want to safeguard Mary's honor in her virginity until the end. Of course they can't admit that the body chosen for the instrument of the Word who said, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow," could have lain with a man, after having received the Holy Spirit's visit and the shadow of the power of the Most High. I believe that the palm of virginity must belong to Jesus among men and to Mary among women. How could we, without impiousness, allot to another woman the palm of virginity?
