A prayer composed by St Francis de Sales

Most sweet Virgin Mary,

You are the common Mother of all poor humans

And especially mine.

My Mother, You are compelled to acquiesce to all my petitions.

For the honor and glory of your Son,

Accept me as your child,

Regardless of my miseries and sins.

Deliver my soul and body from all evil

And give me, above all, humility.

Present me with all the gifts, goods and graces

that are pleasing to the Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,

Amen.
