“Since all our perfection consists in being conformed, united and consecrated to Jesus Christ, the most perfect of all devotions is without question the one that conforms, unites and consecrates us most perfectly to Jesus Christ.
Now, as Mary is the most conformed to Jesus Christ of all creatures, it follows that, of all devotions, the one that most consecrates and conforms a soul to Our Lord is devotion to the Blessed Virgin, his holy Mother, and that the more a soul is consecrated to Mary, the more it will be consecrated to Jesus Christ.
This is why perfect consecration to Jesus Christ is nothing other than a perfect and complete consecration of oneself to the Blessed Virgin, which is the devotion I teach; or in other words, a perfect renewal of the vows and promises of Holy Baptism.” (TD 120)
