Mary is not a beautiful and sublime deviation from the straight line that should be the path that leads souls to the Lord, their supreme goal.
I will go further: if we eliminate Mary, not only are we not rectifying the line, not shortening the distance, but rather we are bypassing God and his Son, lengthening the path, and making it far more complicated and dangerous.
I will explain my point with a comparison: Mary is not the vestibule of the palace of King Jesus, nor the antechamber that delays the audience. She is the sanctuary, always alive and at the same time intimate, that offers us and gives us the Heart of the Beloved, at every hour and in every circumstance.
