We must tremble to touch the mystery of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is profound, very pure, and very bright, and anyone who lacks what it takes to approach it - as is the case with each of us, because of our resistance and the heaviness of our minds - will lower it and distort it according to his or her own particular viewpoint.
We must ask the Blessed Virgin herself to open our hearts and make them transparent, so that her mystery may not be reduced by us, to our measure, but that we ourselves may be changed into her light.
