The Wonderful One (Mary) can only produce wonders

I know that the ‘world of wonders’ can be a trap. If you are open to believing in just anything, there will come a time of disillusionment when you will no longer believe in anything. But unbelievers are made from the credulous, rarely from true believers.

I also know that God is infinite, (...) and I know you, kind Lord: your gifts are never hollow. Just look at how well you've made the dragonfly in the ponds, the maple forest in autumn, and even the November moonlight reflected on the pavement. You are a diligent worker, a perfectionist, tirelessly touching up the universe.

Now seeing how well-made is a simple leek, I can’t even fathom all the rich features you poured into the creation of your own mother! She can only be a wonderfully-made creature.

Just as plants produce plants, as dogs produce dogs, and as men produce men, so the Wonderful One can only produce wonders. The opposite would be surprising.
