Sister Faustina Kowalska (1) recorded some twenty apparitions of the Virgin Mary in her Diary, in addition to some thirty visions of Christ, angels and departed souls.
This is her entry of March 25, 1936:
"Suddenly, I saw the Mother of God, who said to me: "I have given the world the Savior. And you, you must speak to the world of His mercy and prepare the world for the second coming of Him who will come, not as Merciful Savior, but as Just Judge (...). Fear nothing, be faithful to the end". (Diary, 295).
And a few months later:
"She was so beautiful that words fail me to describe her beauty, even partially. She wore all white, girded with a blue scarf, a blue mantle too, and a crown on her head. Her whole person radiated an inconceivable light:
'I am the Queen of Heaven and Earth, but above all your Mother.'
She held me close to her Heart and said, 'I have compassion on you'" (Diary, 295).
