Saint Louis de Montfort and French mystic Marthe Robin have prophesied about the important role the Mother of the Savior will increasingly have towards the End Times. The reign of Christ the Lord will then come in the same way as his first advent: with and through Mary, in the company of the angelic legions as at Bethlehem.
In those future times, the visible representatives of the invisible angels will be what Louis de Montfort calls the great saints of the end times, in other words, men and women totally permeated by a Marian spirit, obedient to the motions of the Holy Spirit and as strong as an army arrayed in battle (Ct 6:4). They will be the last crusaders, the last bearers of the cross of love, and the last victorious ones over the dark angels and their human minions, who will refuse forgiveness and contrition to the last.
According to Saint Faustina (1905-1938), these times, when Mary's angelic reign will be felt more keenly and history will accelerate, are not so far away. Sister Lucia of Fatima seems to share this same conviction, if we are to believe the words she confided to Father Fuentes in 1957: "In these last times in which we live, the Blessed Virgin has given a new effectiveness to the recitation of the Rosary."
In the meantime, let us remain calm, busy doing good, and attentive to the signs that the Lord will not fail to give us in due course, since he is with us "until the end of the world" (Mt 28:20).
