Pellevoisin (1) is a small village in France's in central France (Indre department).

On February 15, 1876, at around midnight, Estelle Faguette, 33, a woman of fragile health who was dying of tuberculosis, had a vision of the Virgin Mary in her home. She would have 14 more apparitions by December 8, 1876.

The second-to-last of these apparitions took place on Saturday November 11, 1876. On that day, Estelle had made a scapular as the Blessed Virgin had asked her to do in a previous apparition. Estelle remembered:

"When she came, the Blessed Virgin was like the other times, with her arms outstretched and wearing her scapular (How beautiful it is, how it stands out on her chest!). When she arrived, as always, she stayed silent for a long time, then she looked at me and said something for me personally.

Then she said: "You haven't wasted your time today; you have worked for me" (I had made a scapular). She smiled, then added: "You need to make many more".

She stopped for quite a long time, then became a little sad, and said to me: "Courage". Then she left, crossing her hands over her chest, covering her scapular completely.
