Mary to a sinner: "Show me that you are my son!"

A sinner once said to Our Lady: "Show me that you are my Mother!" 

- "And you," she replied, "show me that you are my son!"

To another who also invoked her and called her 'Mother of mercy', she said, "You sinners, when you want my assistance, you call me Mother of mercy, but you do not cease, by your sins, to make me a Mother of misery and pain."
