I would like to share about an unexplained fall that happened to me in the church of Azieu, parish of Genas, in the eastern suburbs of Lyon (France). It was Sunday, August 4, 2002, the feast of the Holy Curé of Ars (Saint John Vianney) and I was in charge of finding readers for the mass. I had invited a young woman from the congregation, whom I had never seen before, to be our reader. We were near the altar, standing at the pulpit, when I inexplicably fell down the stairs in front of some young children and their parents.
In my fall, my left shoulder hit a bench, which straightened my head and saved my brains from exploding in front of the children and traumatizing them. That was my immediate thought, thanking Jesus and Mary for protecting us. I was lying in front of the tabernacle where the Hosts are kept and I offered myself to the Lord, thinking of the ordination of the priests, who lie face down in front of the altar.
The firemen took me to the hospital where my shoulder was operated on. It was broken and after a year of rehabilitation I could only raise my hand to the height of my shoulder. During an evening of Praise and Healing, I was suddenly filled with shivers and completely healed of all my pain in an instant. I was able to raise both my arms and say, "Glory to you Lord, glory to you Mother Mary!" Since then, I have not had any pain in my left shoulder.
