August 14 – Saint Maximilian Kolbe, martyr (d. 1941 in Auschwitz) – Madonna del Sasso (Locarno, Switzerland, 1480)

Let us "teach everyone who the Immaculate is"

allow the Immaculate to act by all means available, including the most cutting-edge, because discoveries should first of all be used to serve her, whether we are talking about trade, industry, sports, etc., and even the radio, the movies, in a word, everything that could be discovered and which could enlighten minds and inflame hearts.

But the characteristic that must permeate all our activity is to act "through the Immaculate", our goal being the conquest of the whole world and of each soul in particular to the Immaculate and, through her, to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. (...)

All this must be used to teach each and every one who the Immaculate is, to spread the love that is due to her and above all to revive this fundamental love which is not a matter of sentiment, but of a will united to the will of the Immaculate, just as she intimately united her will to the will of God, to the Heart of God.
