On Good Friday of the year 2006, while an exorcist was reading from the Gospel of John the words Jesus on the cross addressed to Mary, "Woman, behold your Son," and to John, "Behold your Mother," the devil spoke and said: "In that single moment, She loved all her sons for all generations, and She said her second 'yes. After the 'yes' said to the Angel, she said 'yes' to her Son on the cross so that you would become her sons."
The exorcist, with a mixture of amazement and joy for he understood that the devil was obviously forced to say, against his will, things that he would never have wanted to say, continued to read the words of the Gospel: "And from that hour the disciple took her into his home." Then the devil, with a frightful disgust that showed in his voice and attitudes, added: "Pure souls take the Mother of God into their hearts. Your body and mind are the house of the Lord and that is where you must take her. All the children of God should take Mary into themselves and all that she has taught you through her life. You have a great support which is Mary, use it more. Pray to her, pray to her more, make her yours, she always walks by your side."
Faced with these words of the devil uttered while he was exorcizing, the priest, knowing that Good Friday is a special day of grace, reminded him of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross out of love for us, his wounds, his blood, his sufferings, his humiliations, his offering to the Father, as well as Mary's tears and sufferings at the foot of the cross and her offering in union with her Son to the Father, out of love for us. While he was saying all these things, the devil went on to say, to the amazement of the exorcist who was listening: "We were there too, at the foot of the cross, setting some against Him, urging them to accuse Him, to cry out against Him, to challenge Him, and we were tempting the others by instilling doubt in their minds, that He was not the Messiah in reality.”
