In Medjugorje, Mary gives a message for our time (2)

The message of Medjugorje (Bosnia Herzegovina) insists on the violence of the spiritual battle and the vigilance needed so as to respond to the call to holiness in the modern world.

Sometimes in the form of a word of consolation and encouragement, sometimes with warnings, the messages regularly return to the malice of the Adversary: "Now as never before, Satan wishes to show the world his shameful face by which he wants to deceive as many people as possible and lead them along the path of death and sin." (September 25, 1991)

Here again, as in all the messages, it is only a reiteration of what God has already revealed to us, but which needs to be updated for the times in which we live, so that it can be taken more seriously and so that all of us can be saved. "Dear children, I ask you again today to consecrate your lives to me with love. In this way I can guide you with love. I love you, dear children, with a special love, and I want to take you all to Heaven to God." (November 27, 1986)

In conclusion, I would like to repeat the words of Bishop Höser at his first press conference in April 2017: "Recourse to Our Lady of Peace is, in my opinion, essential. The specific role of Medjugorje is (...) extremely important. Dear friends, you should be bearers of the Good News. Tell the whole world that Medjugorje is the place where the light is found. Because we need strong places of light in a world that is sinking into darkness.”
