The flower has produced its fruit

Scripture says: "Let all peoples praise God: the earth has given its fruit." But first, the earth gave the flower. We read in the Song of Songs, "I am the flower of the field, the lily of the valley."

Then the flower became fruit, so that we would eat it, so that we could eat its flesh.

Do you want to know what the fruit is? Him! a virgin, born of the Virgin; the Lord, born of the handmaid; God, born of man; the Son, born of the Mother; the fruit, born of the Earth.
