Mary, Mother of God, you who spoke so little (five sentences and one hymn in the New Testament), but who were always present in the essential moments of the life of your Son Jesus Christ, in these difficult times, we need you and we pray to you!
It is you, such a discreet woman, that God chose as mediatrix to help save the world: without your "YES" to God, nothing would have been possible!
Are we still aware today of the immense positive spiritual repercussions of your answer? Are we still conscious of the place that God reserved for women?
At a time when all reference points are becoming blurred, when criticism of the place of women in the Church is increasing, let us remember that God chose a woman for the incarnation of His Son, who is God made man for the salvation of the world!
We thank you, Mary, for this "YES" and we ask you to help us better understand and accept the reality of humanity composed of both men and women who are complementary and created for Life.
Blessed are you, Virgin Mary, our Mother and our Queen.
Blessed are you, Saint Joseph for having accepted this Mystery.
We pray to you.
