Mary is the "Good Mother" of all

"Go and tell the priests to build a chapel here and to come in procession." These words from the Virgin Mary to Saint Bernadette of Lourdes resonate with me.

One year, when I was between jobs and got a breather, I decided to share one of the gifts I possessed. I began to volunteer my time with the Our Lady of Lourdes Hospitality (1), where I found a "little bit of Heaven on Earth," to quote a former hospitality volunteer. I witnessed the miracle of hope and I understood how much Mary loves us and intercedes for us with her divine Son.

Mary is very present in my prayer, with her appeal to Jesus at the Wedding in Cana: "They have no wine." Only He could turn water into wine, but she asked Him to do it for us. Mother of God, she is the "Good Mother" of all.
