In this month traditionally dedicated to Saint Joseph, and especially because the year 2021 has been entrusted to the saint by Pope Francis, A Moment with Mary will bring you meditations about Our Lady’s chaste spouse for the next nine days, to enable you to better grasp the magnitude of Joseph’s holiness, and hopefully inspire you to emulate him.
The first of these meditations will begin on March 11th, and the last one will be sent out on March 19th, the solemnity of Saint Joseph, husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In addition, Marie de Nazareth is offering a virtual, printable novena to Saint Joseph starting tomorrow (10th) and concluding on March 18th. Click here to subscribe.
A novena is a series of prayers offered for a particular intention, prayed and repeated over nine days. It is a form of prayer in which we ask for the intercession of a particular saint, or the Blessed Virgin Mary. The prayers can also be addressed directly to God that Father as Jesus taught us:
"Ask, and it will be given to you... knock, and it will be opened to you" (Mt 7:7 - Luke 11:9).
"Whatever you ask in faith through prayer, you will receive" (Mt 21:22).
"Whatever you ask in my name, I will do" (John 14:13).
"Whatever you ask the Father for, He will give it to you in my name" (John 16:23).
