Our Lady of Wisdom regains "her" rightful place

On March 25, 2021, feast day of the Annunciation, the parish council of Tavel (France) installed a new statue of Our Lady of Wisdom in their village. This project was made possible thanks to a broad appeal for donations to protect this heritage.

The alcove where the statue was placed is on a street corner in the center of the village. Some years ago, the old alcove had been broken into and the original statue damaged.

Thanks to donations, the alcove was restored and a new statue was purchased from the Villa d'Elba workshop, located in Carpentras (France). A local quarry donated the base of the statue, made of Tavel stone. The parish priest, Father Richard, conducted the blessing ceremony.
