December 31 – Saint Mary Hodigitria (Italy) – Saint Odilo of Cluny, fifth abbot of Cluny (d. 1049)

Thank you, Mary who unties knots!

Hello, my name is Nathalie, I live in France and would like to testify to a great grace I received in 2016. My lease was up and I was looking for another apartment for me and my 14-year-old daughter. The deadline was approaching, and I could not find anything, having very limited resources. I was starting to get depressed.

One evening I was speaking on the phone with a friend and colleague when the Holy Spirit inspired her to suggest I do the novena to Mary who unties knots. She was willing to pray this novena with me and suggested that we both set our alarm clocks to 3 a.m. to begin the novena at the same time.

I didn't have the courage to pray, so I just said: "Mother, I'm tired, I'll start when I have the strength", and I fell asleep. I always sleep with the scapular of the Virgin Mary around my neck or under my pillow or hanging from my hand. For me it's a way to cling to her protective cloak!

The next day, during the morning coffee break, I admitted to my friend that I had not yet started the novena, and she replied: "I will continue praying it." Eventually, God gave me the strength and two days later, while my colleague was two days ahead of me, I found a place to live before the novena was even over!

Thank you Mother Mary for untying the knot! As a single mom making little money, I was still able to find a place where my daughter has her own room!

I invite you to do this novena; I recommended it to a friend who is looking for a job and I will pray it with her.
