The Rosary is my life,
A bond twixt heaven and earth.
An Almighty Father so remote,
Yet a mother’s hand held out for me to grasp.
Our Father, creation’s link to deity,
Words given to us by His Son,
Pater Noster, Vater Unser, Notre Pere;
Life’s challenge to be won.
Ave Maria in rhythm of repetition,
Like a heartbeat of vivification.
Circulates my soul and
Aspirates my being with revelation.
A mother’s embrace of love
Moulds our mortality,
Sustained by aid from above
To be re-birthed in spirituality.
