Go in first and I'll follow you

I lost my husband on July 12, 2011. After 45 years of happily married life, he died in the hospital, 17 days after being admitted. When I came home, as I opened the door, I said to Mary: "From now on, we will live together. Go in first and I’ll follow you." 

I've never had a single moment of solitude! Mary is here and she helps me to meet her Son Jesus in the Scriptures. I begin my day with the Rosary, followed by daily Mass. That’s my life now. When I return home after an outing, I sing or recite a Hail Mary or any other song that comes to me, in front of the icon of Mary Gateway to Heaven displayed in the entryway.

At the invitation of St Louis de Montfort, I try to do everything with, in, for and through Mary. Life is easier now that there are the two of us making decisions, working, meeting people and praying for their intentions together. I am glad to share all this with you. I am 74 years of age and trying to live each day that God gives me to love and to serve. Let us remain united in prayer, with Jesus and through Mary. Amen.
