Mary is the Universal Mother

I have a Protestant friend who now begins her prayer by addressing the Blessed Virgin. She has come to understand that Mary is the Universal Mother, and she wears the Miraculous Medal.

One day she told me: "Give me a rosary, I want to start praying it. Protestants don't pray the Rosary, so you need to show me how to do it". I wrote down the "instructions" for her, and I know it must be hard to start praying in a new way after 60 years!

Her husband underwent a successful operation for kidney cancer, usually a non-operable cancer. He is fine now – he is careful about his health but he is treatment free. We had entrusted him to the Blessed Virgin from the Rue du Bac (the Miraculous Medal apparition). Today we believe that his recovery was a miracle. This sign has filled us with gratitude, and we continue to love and entrust many intentions to Mary, Mother of Mercy, for so many people around us.
