The only bridge left now is Mary

Following is an excerpt from Maria Valtorta’s 1943 Notebook of mystical revelations, dated July 4, about the Blessed Virgin Mary

Jesus says:

"The Eucharist is my Blood and my Body. But have you ever thought that this Blood and this Body were formed with the blood and milk of Mary? ...

If it weren't for the care of Mary and her prayers, the human race would no longer exist. I would have erased it because your way of life has really hit the bottom of evil, justice is insulted, patience has reached its limit, and the punishment is ready. But Mary is there who protects you with her mantle, and if I can, with a single glance, make Heaven bow down and the stars tremble, I can do nothing against my Mother.

I am her God, but I always remain her Child. On this heart, I took my first sleep as a newborn and the last sleep of death, and of this heart I know all the secrets. So I know that punishing you would cause a piercing pain to the Mother of the human race, who is your real Mother, and who continues to hope that she can lead you to her Son.

I am her God, but she is my Mother. And I, perfect in everything, I am your Master in this too: in loving the Mother. To those in this world who still believe, I say: the salvation of the world is in Mary.

If you could understand that God is withdrawing far from you, as He sees the rising tide of the crimes that you commit, you deicides, fratricides, you violators of the law, fornicators, adulterers, thieves, cesspit of vices, you would tremble. But you have become fools.

Before, I was the bridge between the world and Heaven. But in truth, before your obstinacy in doing evil, Christ has left as he once left Jerusalem because the hour had not yet come. While waiting for the hour to come, Christ leaves you now to your evil ways so that you can accomplish them.

Now the only bridge left is Mary. But if you despise it too, you will be crushed. I will not allow men to vilify the One in whom the Holy Spirit came down to beget me, the Son of God and Savior of the world. "
