The Men-Worshipers, an organization of men’s prayer groups present in many French parishes, issued this communication:
“After meeting with Jean-Yves Nerriec, head of Mission Angelus, we want to stress the importance of joining the missions of our two movements: Mission Angelus aims to make known the message of Christ and the gospels to everyone in the Muslim world, and to live it together. Therefore our mission embraces this statement from Vatican II Council:
"The Catholic Church ... proclaims, and ever must proclaim Christ ‘the way, the truth, and the life’ (John 14:6), in whom men may find the fullness of religious life." (Vatican II, Declaration on the Relation of the Church to Non-Christian Religions, Nostra Aetate n. 2).
The Men-Worshipers aim to bring more men to our parishes, men who are true, spiritual, friendly, well trained, and willing to be of service to others. We invite men who wish to pray, through the daily recitation of the Marian prayer of the Angelus, for the conversion of the Muslim world to Christ, and for the fruitfulness of the work of Mission Angelus.
