The day I was ordained a priest, I strongly felt her presence

The Most Holy Virgin Mary is a strong maternal sign in the life of every Christian, because she always shows us the way to fulfill her Son’s will, as a sure means of attaining holiness.

Among the many graces I have received from God through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin, I would like to highlight one that means a lot to me: My vocation and priestly ordination. On the day that I was ordained a priest, I strongly felt her presence, encouraging me to embrace her Son’s call and taking me as her son so that I would never abandon the priesthood.

Mary, Mother of the supreme and eternal priest, becomes the mother of all the priests, her beloved children. Let us entrust to her our whole life so that she may always help us to love and serve her Son, in our earthly pilgrimage to the eternal Kingdom.
