November 6 – Our Lady of Valfleury (France)

At the school of Mary, I found God

Saint Bernard said that we can never talk too much about Mary. I have learned to love Our Lady since my childhood, through the recitation of the Holy Rosary every evening as a family, or by myself when we couldn’t get together.

I learned that praying the Rosary always obtains for us the graces that we need. I have experienced the constant support of Our Lady in the most important moments of my Christian, religious and priestly life.

In periods of doubt, when I was unsure of my vocation, I always prayed to her, asking her to help me find the light of the Holy Spirit, in order to choose what would be best for the glory of God and the good of souls. And several times, when I had decided to leave the religious and priestly life, Our Lady intervened, putting me in the right direction.

Today I am happy that the Blessed Virgin Mary has led me with her maternal hand to the Heart of her divine Son. At the school of Mary, I found God, and I love him and serve him joyfully.
