Mary is a luminous sign and an appealing example of moral life, who deserves the title of "Throne of Wisdom."
She shares our human condition, but in total transparency to the grace of God. Having not known sin, she is able to sympathize with all weakness. She understands the sinner and she loves him with a maternal love.
That is why she is on the side of truth and shares the burden of the Church to remind all of us about moral requirements, at all times. For the same reason she does not accept that the sinner should be deceived by anyone who would claim to love him by justifying his sin, for she knows that in doing so the sacrifice of Christ her Son would be rendered useless.
No acquittal, though pronounced by tolerant philosophical or theological doctrines, can make a person truly happy—only the Cross and the glory of the risen Christ can pacify his conscience and save his life.
