In 1970, I was a member of the Focolare Priestly School founded by Chiara Lubich, where I discovered in Mary our model of life, in the spirit of the Second Vatican Council.
Living like Mary, the one who serves with love, the Mother of all, the one who loves until it hurts, has become my daily aim—attaining the Marian priesthood that Jesus asked of the apostle Peter: "Do you love me more than those?"
I am especially happy when I meet young people who break away from drugs, or who while in prison express a desire for a new life; sick people who offer their sufferings for the conversion of sinners; young people who leave everything to devote themselves to the priestly life.
