July 15 - Maronites and Syriacs: Feast of Mary Mediatrix - Saint Bonaventure

Unique occurrences in the history of the Church

Mother Yvonne-Aimée's(1) great friendship with the Virgin Mary was founded on the Bible, the Church’s dogmas, theology, liturgy, the meditated Rosary, the example of the saints, and her own experience as a mystic.

Far from shutting herself up in the Marian graces she had received, Mother Yvonne-Aimée looked up to the greater apparitions of Rue du Bac, La Salette, Lourdes, Pontmain and Fatima, believing that these were unique occurrences in the history of the Church. She said one day in recreation that she had read the account of Lucia, Jacinta and Francis of Fatima three times, so moved was she by their story.

It probably wasn’t by coincidence that every year on August 15th, from 1922 to 1950, a special date when French Catholics hold processions to commemorate the Vow of King Louis XIII to entrust his kingdom to the Virgin Mary, Mother Yvonne-Aimée received a secret visit and apparition of Mary during the night, which had to do with the situation of France and affairs affecting the Church in the USSR and worldwide.
