Each Hail Mary destroys evil

God has granted an immense power to Our Lady: she crushes the head of the "serpent"—symbol of the forces of Evil—under her feet. That is why she is said to be "terrible as an army drawn up in battle." Pope Benedict XVI tells us: "The Rosary contains the saving force of the name of Jesus" (May 3, 2008).

Mary never ceases to gather her children for this fight. In each Marian apparition she shows us the Rosary as a powerful weapon against the enemy.

The Rosary is a sword! Jesus Himself gives us the Rosary to use as a weapon. This is what Bishop Olivier, Bishop of Maiduguri in Nigeria, said: "On April 18, 2016, I was reciting the Rosary when the Lord appeared to me. He gave me a sword. I grabbed it, and it immediately turned into a Rosary!"

Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort tells us that "the Rosary makes us victorious against all our enemies." So let's pick up our "armor" every day and participate in the victory of the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

Remember the episode of David and Goliath: the Rosary is the slingshot! Each Ave Maria is a blessing that destroys evil.
