Gilberte Degeimbre, the last of the five seers of the 1933 apparitions of Beauraing in Belgium, died on February 10, 2015, at the age of 91.
"An era has ended at Beauraing: that of the seers. Another era is opening, which will be focused on spreading the testimony of the seers, of communicating it differently," declared the shrine of Beauraing.
The Virgin Mary appeared in Beauraing 33 times, from November 29, 1932 to January 3, 1933, to five children: Fernande, Gilberte and Albert Voisin, Andrée and Gilberte Degeimbre.
Msgr. Charue, bishop of Namur, authorized the public devotion to Our Lady of Beauraing on February 2, 1943, and six years later, on July 2, 1949, he recognized the supernatural character of the events.
The first message of the Virgin of the Golden Heart is prayer: "Pray always." The Virgin also asked for a "chapel." And upon leaving the children, she said: "I will convert sinners. I am the Mother of God, the Queen of Heaven. Pray always. Farewell."
