The month of May 2017, which is about to begin, is starting in a difficult national and international context, fraught with social and political divisions in many parts of the globe. Let us not forget that for Catholics, May is also the month of Mary!

From this perspective, the Mary of Nazareth Association is everyone to make this month of May the great month of Missionaries of Mary!

The call and mission of A Moment With Mary is evangelization through Mary and with Mary our universal Mother, in order to bring all her scattered children back to her Son.

Wherever you are, we invite you to become a missionary of Mary!

Why Missionaries of Mary?

Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort (1673-1716), author of the famous Treatise on the True Devotion to Mary, masterfully answered this question!

The work of this great Marian apostle, published for the first time in 1843 yet written some 130 years earlier, was first forgotten and preserved in anonymity among the archives of the Missionaries of Saint Laurent-sur-Sevres, before reappearing in the middle of the 20th century.

Marthe Robin of Chateauneuf-de-Galaure (a French mystic, 1902-1981) was informed of this in 1928 through her parish priest, and the Foyers de Charité (retreat centers) she founded with Father Georges Finet have since become the great dispensers of Marian theology according to Grignion de Montfort. As for the future pope and saint John Paul II, he discovered the writings of Montfort at the beginning of the Second World War, while he was a young worker in a stone quarry. Their reading made him an unconditional apostle of the Blessed Virgin to whom he dedicated his life, his motto Totus Tuus, and the world of the third millennium!
