She is More a Mother than a Queen (III)

We know very well that the Blessed Virgin is the Queen of Heaven and Earth, but she is more a mother than a queen, and we must not be mistaken in believing (as I have often heard say) that her qualities make her eclipse the glory of all the saints - like the sun, when it rises, makes the stars disappear. Lord Almighty, how strange that sounds! A mother who makes her own children's glory disappear! I think the opposite is true. I believe that she actually causes the chosen ones' splendor increase.
