Jesus promised that, in His Church, there would be miracles greater than those which He had performed. He limited neither the number nor the time when these miracles would happen, so that, as long as the Church exists, we will always see the hand of the Lord expressing His power by extraordinary events. (...) These perceptible signs of the absolute divine power always predict serious facts, expressing either God's mercy and goodness, or His justice and indignation. This is done for His greater glory and for the good of many souls. May these events be for us a source of graces and blessings; contributing to enlivening the faith in our life, giving us an active faith, a faith that encourages us to do good works and to avoid all evil in order to make us worthy of God's infinite mercy in this life and for eternity.
