The time Mary remained with the disciples was a great consolation to them. This was not a great hardship for the mother, but it did bring wonderful remedies of salvation to the world. Indeed, the Lord Jesus wanted the apostles to benefit from Mary's maternal assistance and education after His return to the Father. Although they had already been taught many things by the Spirit, they had still had much more to learn from the one who gave the Sun of Justice to the world and poured out from her immaculate bosom, like virginal meadow, the source of Wisdom. Lastly, in His admirable goodness, Providence wanted the early Church, which could no longer see God present in the flesh, to see His mother and be comforted by such a pleasant sight.
