God Wishes to Honor His Mother in this Way

One asks many things to God," Nicephorus observed, "and one doesn't obtain them. One asks many things to Mary and one obtains them. Why is that? It isn't that Mary is more powerful than God; but that God wishes to honor his Mother in this way.
