This French mystic had high esteem for Saint Louis de Montfort, as reported by Father John Hemery in his book on the Virgin Mary (La Mère de Jésus était là, ed. Letheilleux). The Treatise on True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin has experienced extraordinary posterity. The first sentence of the book is like a prophecy and a program: "It was through the Blessed Virgin Mary that Jesus Christ came into the world, and it is also through her that he must reign in the world."
