So that Mary’s Mystery is not Reduced Down to Our Size

We should tremble at the idea of touching the mystery of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This mystery is so profound, so deep, so pure and luminous, that a person who lacks the necessary to approach her - which is the case of each one among us, because of the resistance and heaviness of our hearts - will only draw her down and deform the Holy Mother into his or her own perspective. May the Blessed Virgin herself open our hearts and make them transparent so that her mystery is not reduced down to our size, but that we ourselves are transformed into her light.
