May Your Hearts Be Like Empty Vessels

O very blessed Mother, as you were the largest, the most able and the worthiest vessel on the earth, you were also, more than any other, filled with the bitter cup of anguish that your Beloved swallowed in this place of torment. Ah! May this teach me to accept tribulations as a thing shared with the Divine Spouse? O very pure Mother, you call us saying, “Come, my daughters, may your hearts be like empty vessels and my Son will pour the morning dew into you. May the dew that covered His head and the drops of the night of His Passion that encircled His head be transformed into pearls of consolation. My very sweet Mother, give me the grace that from this day forward, I may accept every occasion of humiliation, suffering and abjection like small distilled droplets of from His precious head.
